Pale gold with good clarity. Some gentle legs. Full and fresh in the mouth with pear drop flavours, well balanced natural acidity and a long dry finish.
This is a lovely fresh wine, low in sulphites, ideal for summer. If you can let it breathe for ten minutes as being a new young wine it will benefit and soften a little.

A brand new wine from Mauricio Lorca. As I’ve known Mauricio for many years now, when he decided to produce a sulphite free wine we were the obvious choice to market it so we bought roughly half of the very limited quantity he produced.
It’s hand picked and hand selected fruit from his best vineyards at Finca los Inicios in the Uco Valley at over 1000 meters altitude. The wine is superb as you would expect from Mauricio. Being sulphite free is a bonus.
Deep opaque ruby with good legs and a natural nose. Big concentrated black and red fruit flavours with subtle liquorice and a hint of violet coming in on the long finish. Medium weight and body, smooth and velvety on the palate with the perfect combination of power from the Malbec and elegance from the Cabernet Franc producing a superbly balanced wine well suited to food (but great on it’s own too).

The Tampesta Golan Rose differs from their standard Rose as it is 100% Prieto Picudo (as opposed to having some Tempranillo) and is has been aged on the lees and in wood for a few months to give a fuller body and more complexity. It is lovely!

Great balance and lovely flavours. This is a great wine for enjoying on it’s own but will pair particularly well with cheese and charcuterie.

Handpicked into small trays, the best grapes were selected where 90% were fermented then aged in French oak and 10% in American oak. The resulting wine is fantastic and is presented in an impressive heavyweight bottle.
Deep ruby in colour. Big juicy fruit perfectly balanced with the oak and the high altitude acidity. This is a cracking bottle of Malbec at this price.
