Sparkling Wine
Below is a selection of good quality sparkling wine from different regions. All have been selected for their great quality. Champagne has always been comparatively expensive and it has increased so much this year we find it difficult to justify it on a quality to price ratio. Our Champagne method vintage Cavas and Cremant de Limoux are delicious wines at less than half the price of their equivalent Champagnes. If you want premium image then Ca del Bosco Franciacorta is a great choice, in my opinion better than all the popular branded Champagnes and far more exclusive of course.
100% Macabeo. This organic Cava is fantastic. Good fruit, very fine mousse with nicely balanced natural acidity making it smooth and very easy to drink.
This wine is delicious and I expect it to quickly become one of our best sellers.

Cava No11 Rosado Organic Brut Dominio de la Vega
This is a fantastic organic Rose Cava. Lovely strawberry flavours with a hint of sweetness, fine mousse then a nice dry finish.
Again nicely integrated natural acidity so none of that “burn” synonymous with cheap factory produced cavas! It is delicious and I expect it to be a big hit.

Being a Reserva it has a minimum of 18 months bottle age, and being Brut Nature the tirage doesn’t have added sugar so this wine is fully fermented to result in a drier style on the finish.

This wine is an excellent alternative to Champagne and great value.

Domaine Mayrac Blanquette de Limoux Demi Sec is a delicious organic sparkling wine, very low in sulphites in the “demi sec” style which means “half dry”. There’s just a touch of residual sugar with gentle natural acidity making this extremely drinkable. If you find some “Bruts” can dry the mouth or be too acidic this is the wine for you! As well as an aperitif it makes a good option to accompany dessert too.
