Important information if you are sensitive to Sulphites
Most Rose wines contain comparatively high levels of sulphites. For this reason, we don’t list much Rose wine as it’s difficult to find ones with low sulphite content. So we have only a small selection of sulphite free, organic and low sulphite roses available.

This Tampesta Rose from the DO Tierra de Leon in North Western Spain is a lovely soft and fruity natural Rose made by expert Galician winemaker Luis Buitrón, vice-president of the Spanish Federation of Winemakers and president of the Association of Oenologists of Galicia.

The Tampesta Golan Rose differs from their standard Rose as it is 100% Prieto Picudo (as opposed to having some Tempranillo) and is has been aged on the lees and in wood for a few months to give a fuller body and more complexity. It is lovely!

Pinot Noir, hand harvested from a low yielding single vineyard. Boplaas only produce this wine in exceptional years.
It’s made via the tank method rather than fermented in bottle, and the juice is left on the lees in tank for six months before racking off and bottling to add complexity.
Pale salmon in colour. Red berry flavours on entry with a fine persistent mousse, gentle acidity, finishing bone dry. It’s delicious in the drier style as opposed to our Rose Cava from Dominio de la Vega which is sweeter on entry with a little more residual sugar. If you like your sparkling wines dry this is the Rose for you.

It’s fruity and fresh with a bit more mouthfeel and a longer finish…

Santa Margherita Chiaretto Stilrose is a superb rose for the discerning wine drinker. Pale salmon pink in colour, full and round in the mouth with complex concentrated flavours. Gentle acidity cleanses the palate on the long finish. This wine is the Italian equivalent to good Cotes de Provence, although this is comparatively low in sulphites too (which is very difficult to find in France). This is the Italian “Whispering Angel”.
