Cava Expression Brut Reserva 2021 Dominio de la Vega
Variety 100% Macabeo from the La Vega vineyard, harvested by hand then hand sorted to select only the best grapes. Being a Cava it is produced via the traditional (Champagne) method of secondary fermentation in bottle. The resultant wine was aged on the lees in bottle for a minimum of 18 months qualifying it for “Reserva” status, which means creamier, fuller and more integrated in style – more the richer “Champagne” style than Prosecco.
This wine is an excellent alternative to Champagne and great value.

We select the Macabeo plots and to do so we attend to the criteria of freshness and aromatic potential. The grapes are pneumatic drained at low temperature and pressure to extract only the flower must. Decanting and cleaning by cold, without adding fining agents to continue with its fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Pale yellow in color and with fine bubbles. Its aromas remind us of pastries or bakery with fresh notes of white fruit. In the mouth it presents itself with a round and very pleasant entry, well-constituted and carbonated, balanced and integrated. Creamy, long and pleasant finish.
