Domaine Mayrac Esprit Nature Rose
Domaine Mayrac have improved on their No SO2 Rose with this Esprit Natur Rose. Still sulphite free and fully organic of course, but this wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc as opposed to Cinsault in their No SO2 wine.

Type: IGP de la Haute Vallée de l’Aude - Free sulphur rosé wine
Percentage of each grape variety used : 100 % Cabernet Franc
Harvest : The grapes are handpicked during the second fortnight of September to second fortnight of October.The grapes are collected in baskets of 35 kg to avoid the bursting and crushing of the fruits and to avoid oxidation.
Densité : 5550 plants/h
Production per hectare : 45 hl/ha
Specificity : : Elaborated without any preservative and adjuvant. No detected sulfites at the analisis
Soil : clay-limestone soils.
Vinification : Rosé de saignée made after 4 hours of maceration. Fermentation in a stainless steel vat at low temperature 14° C.
Alcohol level : 12 % Vol.
Ageing qualities : 2 years

Tasting notes : Mineral and fruity aromas with hints of menthol freshness. A good mouth balance for this wine, rich in multiple fruit and “brioche” aromas.
