Domaine Mayrac Organic Poemes Rose

Domaine Mayrac had to add a drop of sulphites this year due to bad weather at harvest so have produced this ultra low sulphite organic Rose in place of their sulphite free Esprit Nature Rose.

Fruity yet with gentle acidity and lowish alcohol at only 12%, it ends with a nice dry finish. It reminded me of enjoying a similar styled wine sat outside the cathedral in Avignon on one of our wine trips. A very easy drinking wine ideal for glugging on a summer’s day.
