This is a fantastic Bodeaux Blend right up there with the very best from Argentina. 50% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, 16 months in 50% first use French oak and 50% in second use.

Dark ruby, big legs. Powerful wine with big fruit flavours, noticeable oak and a really long finish.

This wine is excellent.

50% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc grown on loamy-stony soils at Finca Mangato, the wine is fermented in used 500 litre barrels and is aged for 16 months – 50% in new French oak, 50% in second use barrels. Something of a masterpiece from a winemaker who has immense experience and is making a bold statement with her own project. Outstanding concentration combined with an elegant, delightful delivery on the palate.
