Pinot Grigio Livon is a great example of quality Pinot Grigio from Collio, one of the best areas in all Italy for this grape. The Livon family are the biggest privately owned winery in the region consistently producing very high quality white wines in particular, although they also produce some good reds from local grapes such as Refosco.

This Pinot Grigio is superb. Very pale in appearance yet full and round and full flavoured. This is very well made wine with a long finish. If you’ve never tried quality Pinot Grigio before this one from Livon is very highly recommended.

A superb family owned winery in the Friuli Venezie region, producing one of the best Pinot Grigios in Italy. Established by Dorino Livon in 1964, their wine empire has expanded under his sons' management to now include 5 separate wineries including one in Tuscany and another in Umbria. Their over riding philosophy is "quality above all else".

    I order this every time – a really nice, fresh Pinot Grigio. Super both for just an aperitif (or two) and also with fish, seafood etc.
