Domaine Mayrac Organic Savoir Etre Rouge
A new wine recently released. Tasting notes to follow but I expect it to be very good.
Awarded Silver at both Milesime Bio 2019 and IWSC 2019
Text from Mayrac's website:
Made from our 2 oldest Syrah and Cabernet Franc vines, planted from East to West, we only harvest the bunches displayed on the South face, benefiting from maximum sunshine.
While the nose reveals notes of black fruit, pepper and chocolate, the mouth surprises with the quality of its silky tannins and its long finish.
Food / wine pairing : grilled meat, shoulder of lamb, cheeses…
