Cave de Cairanne Basileus 50cl

Naturally sweet as opposed to fortified, Basileus is a light-coloured red wine, at 15% abv due solely to natural sugars in the grapes.

Sweet fruit flavours, yet fresh and clean (not cloying and heavy as some dessert wines can be). It’s in a lighter style, more of a table wine with sweetness than a true concentrated dessert wine.

Very easy drinking, smooth with gentle acidity – serve at room temperature.
