Artisan Family Winery

Tampesta Golan Edicion Limitada D.O Tierra de Leon

This is the “edition limitada” of Tampesta’s superb Golan Prieto Picudo, aged in French oak for 55 months.

If you like oak matured old world style wines like Claret and Barolo then I expect you will love this. Best to decant for an hour if you can (but not strictly necessary).

Super smooth and silky with notes of violet and lavender, finishing savoury and dry of course with a little vanilla. You’d have to pay a lot more money for a French or Italian equivalent, this is a little gem if that’s your style of wine.

No photos available so we have used the original Golan – presentation is similar except this limited edition has a waxed top.
