Sauvignon Blanc Fallwind St Michael Eppan DOC Alto Adige

James Suckling 91 Points

St Michael Eppan is one of Italy’s finest wineries. It’s a cooperative of around 340 individual growers all with tiny vineyard parcels totalling something like 360 hectares. They pool the grapes and have the privilege of Hanz Terzer, one of the most highly regarded winemakers in the world, making their wines!

Hand harvested grapes were hand selected to go into this wine. Fermented and aged on the less for longevity. The wine is fresh and mineral in style with some tropical fruit notes. Great wine as always from Hanz.
