Santa Cristina is a very small winery on Lake Garda owned and run by the Zenato family. Here they make beautiful hand crafted wines in small quantities. They're very proud of the family's "Podere Massoni" vineyards and believe these produce exceptional fruit, representing the traditional wines of the region. They use only the best grapes and only produce wines under this label when conditions are right for top quality fruit.
I'm really impressed with these wines as they're very pure and clean in style. Presentation is simple and classical, and they use heavyweight bottles and high quality corks and foil. These wines are something special.

Grape Varieties : Trebbiano di Lugana
Vinification: The Trebbiano grapes were harvested at the end of September by hand. They are soft pressed on arrival at the winery and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for 20 days. The wine is then aged for 5 months in stainless steel tanks with a further 3 months in bottle before release.

Just returned from Lake Garda, where we tried this wine on the first evening. So impressed, we had it every evening. Went well with pasta, seafood and pizza. Now firmly our favourite white wine.
