Le Quai à Raisins Belvedere
Brand new wine - tasting notes to follow
The official tasting notes state:
GRAPE VARIETY & TERROIR: Syrah & Grenache on pink sandstone and schist
THE VINES: Parcels located in the Terrasses du Larzac (Hérault). Organically farmed and harvested by hand.
WINEMAKING: Whole bunch Syrah co-fermented with destemmed Grenache. The grapes are macerated for 22 days between 24 and 27°C. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged 15 months in 400L French oak barrels. No added sulphites.
TASTING: Toasted coffee beans, cacao and black olive aromas. Complexe and dense wine with a fruity cherry finish.
WHEN TO DRINK: Great ageing potential. To be drunk with a nice piece of pork or duck.
