Frey Cabernet Sauvignon sulphite free wine
This vintage is fabulous. Frey Cabernet Sauvignon normally wins an array of medals and I expect this vintage to do the same.
Bronze: 2017 East Meets West Wine Competition
Due to a technical issue with our organic licensing body for importing organic wines from outside the EU, we have had to have our latest shipment of Frey wines declassified from organic to non organic to clear Customs and meet EU regulations. We had to do this to avoid them being stuck in port for weeks while we sorted out this mess. Hence we are not permitted to market them as organic or even to describe them as organic. We will also be making changes to the physical labels on the bottles to remove the word organic. We apologise for any disruption this may cause and for defacing the labels on these superb wines.
Frey's website states:
"A blend of grapes from inland Mendocino County, our Cabernet is rich and earthy with flavors of plum and a spicy finish. Best paired with bold, flavorful foods that match its depth of flavor and aroma. Enjoy with wild mushroom ragout, roasted rack of lamb, or flourless chocolate cake.
Total sulfite, naturally occurring: TTB analysis, 0 ppm."
