Johns Christmas Case
We start with Santa Margherita rose "Prosecco" which is replacing their anniversary "52" which has been so popular for us. Then we move onto the fabulous artisan Andigna Albarino, full and round yet crisp and fresh (less than 9000 bottles made). For a fuller white we then have Fledge & Co Vagabond, a barrel fermented and barrel matured five way blend from our friends Leon Coetzee and Margaux Nel. They made just 2000 bottles of this and it is a beauty.
For the reds we start with a beautiful organic wine from La Selva, Morrelino di Scansano Colli del Uccellina Riserva, a stunning Sangiovese with 15% Merlot with some oak ageing. Then onto an all time favourite, Rainbows End Merlot. And for a dessert wine we have the incredible Sequerciani Aleatico, a natural sulphite free sweet Sangiovese fermented in clay amphora, with literally a few hundred half bottles produced each year. Every one of these wines is thoroughly delicious, natural and healthy and very low in sulphites.
