Bodegas El Porvenir - Amauta Cabernet Malbec
The Amauta range from El Porvenir has been consistently excellent year on year, and was the first range of wines we sourced when we first started looking seriously at Argentina. The labels were striking which got our attention, then once we tasted the wines we were hooked.
"The Amauta, in the original cultures of Cafayate, was the great teacher, the wise man. Respected for his knowledge of human subjects, of nature, and of the universe, it was he who taught to live."
Yet another beautiful blend from Porvenir, this time Malbec dominated. Red and black fruits with a little spice and vanilla from the oak. Very smooth and very easy to drink!
60% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Finca Rio Seco: vineyards located at 1,700 mts (5,577 ft) above sea level in Cafayate Valley, Salta.
