Here we're listing some of our wines which have received coverage in the wine press such as Decanter Magazine, Wine Spectator etc. along with what was said about them. Personally I'm not a big fan of Decanter magazine. It's published by IPC Media who own 90 titles like Woman's Own and Country Life, and their business is all about selling and commercial profitability - not about promoting quality wine!

For some reason we're very rarely mentioned in Decanter even when they're reviewing wines which only we stock in the UK! They prefer to list UK stockist as N/A. It only takes 30 seconds to search for a wine on Google to see if it's available in the UK and we would expect such a respected magazine to do their research properly, wouldn't we? If there are several stockists we're still virtually never mentioned although we're virtually always the cheapest and have next day delivery! Could it be anything to do with our refusal to pay them £400 to be listed on their website I wonder?

We have plenty more wines which have been featured. Please bear with me while I trawl through some back issues to find the relevant reviews.

Cusumano Jale

Who'd think a Chardonnay from Sicily could be this good? The alcohol shows a bit, but it's subtle and mineral, with complexity and lovely texture. 4 stars.

Cusumano Sagana

Nero D'Avola that is utterly Italian: supple succulent black plum fruitiness and a modern touch of spicy oak, bringing a stylish polish to a concentrated rich wine of good structure and ageing potential. 4 stars.
